Trouble Creating a New Project in Garage Band

If you are having trouble creating a new project in Garage Band(if your plus button is greyed out), first open the app. Tap on the three dots in the upper left corner.

Next, tap on Edit Sidebar.

Finally, make sure that On My iPad is turned on.
