Changing Your Display Mode

When you have a multiple displays, you can either have your screens Mirrored or Extended. To change which mode you are in, go to the Apple menu in the top left of your screen()>System Preferences>Displays. Click on the “Arrangements” tab.

There is a checkbox that says “Mirror Displays”. When the box is checked, both of your monitors will show the exact same thing(mirrored). If the box is unchecked, you can utilize both monitors as one big monitor(extended).
