How to Embed a YouTube Video in Google Docs

Google Docs allows you to embed YouTube videos directly into the document. First type the @ symbol immediately followed by the URL of the video. You will see a pop-up that says “To replace with” followed by the name of the video. Press the Tab key to embed the video in your document.

Hover over the insert and you will see “Open preview”. Click on that and the video will play.
