There are two types of wireless technologies commonly used to connect devices:
• Mobile carrier wireless (cellular networks)
• Wi-Fi wireless (provided by the district)
The district provides Wi-Fi access for data communication only.
In contrast, mobile carrier wireless is managed by external providers (e.g., Verizon, AT&T) and includes services such as phone calls, texting, and internet access.
These services operate independently of the district's network and are not managed or maintained by the district.
Mobile Coverage in District Buildings
The district does not control or restrict mobile phone coverage. Any signal issues inside buildings are typically due to:
• Limited coverage from the mobile carrier
• Building construction materials that interfere with signal strength
The district does not take any action to block or reduce mobile signals.
